User's notes

We saw a person throwing rocks and stones at something in the grass and then trying to beat it with a stick. As we got closer it turned out to be a snake which was within a few metres of the person. We asked them to leave it alone as the snake was no threat to anyone where it was and there was no reason to aggravate it. The snake eventually went on its way and disappeared into a small hole in the ground adjacent to a stormwater manhole.
