All living happily in a large puddle on the road not far from Pryors Hut.

Probably C. signifera, but a comment or image of the belly would help confirm id. If you observed it, was it granular grey or marbled black and white?

Crinia parinsignifera does not occur that high up in the mountains, so, yes, C. signifera. Will Osborne
