User's notes

Maybe a native bee ~ much smaller than a blue-banded native bee. But stripes on abdomen seemed to have a blue tinge. Have checked “Native Bees” by Peter Abbott but no luck!

Thanks Peter for the ID confirmation
I’m following up on their characteristics, behaviour to learn more!
Is this correct: Family Halictidae; Genus Lipotriches; Species ferricauda?
What is (Austronomia)? I read about Noma bees also being ground-nesting
