User's notes

Not sure how to categorise this! This eclectic mix of spiders came from four shattered mud cells of a wasp nest, identity of wasp unknown. Unlike spiders found in nests from around the same door on two previous occasions (sightings 4378100 and 4426532), these are a variety of sizes and shapes, and belong to a number of different families, including orb weavers, jumping spiders and lynx spiders. I can provide more detail of any of these if wanted.

Cath this is very interesting while there is a diversity of spiders the wasp does seem to be targeting just one species of Opisthoncus. If you could it would be good to post sightings of recognisable spider species separately and put under one collection - I think I can identify six species - would be most valuable if we know the species of wasp involved - do you have images or past postings of it? This sighting could be put down as Opisthoncus serratofasciatus - I think there are three of these on your petrie dish.
