Well I have plenty of Poas for them to get stuck into and I don't eat them so I won't be competing. And I don't really have lawn. Not as such.

Hi donhe. 'lawns' requiring mowing are an import from Europe, not popular with many native plant enthusiasts in Australa!

Additional info on 'lawns': This is a rural property where we cut the grass around the house so we can see the snakes and hopefully make bushfires burn less fiercely. But it is grass and definitely not lawn.

Not a problem. If I lived in a city I would have grass as well rather than lawn. Or actually probably something similar to what I have here now I think about it. But with possibly fewer snake issues.
