User's notes

This is the pair that shooed the School Hollow gang gangs away from Duck Hollow (previous posting). It seems clear that this pair have been doing the preparation work on the hollow, and have gang gang 'ownership' of the hollow. The female is Eye Rose, and I've noticed her in this grove for the past couple of years, since her second failed nesting attempt in 2021 (Track, then Larissa hollows).

Thanks for adding to sighting to Gang-gang movement study - we have both Eye Rose and Cheeky Rose returning to Hughes each breeding season while the the male Baldy has returned for four seasons to to Aranda - so at least some birds seem to return to the same breeding vicinity each year.

Thank you, Michael. I also believe it was the same female that returned to Larissa Hollow for the three years, until she disappeared?

What made her distinctive and do we have photos?

Cheers michael
