I'm curious about the context - can you give some more ? it doesn't look like a saturated drainage line - looks very dry, parched.

Hi Jane, I’m not confident of the ID myself, it just looked like a good fit. It just stood out as something different to the usual Juncus, Umbrella Sedge, and Carex appressa I’m used to seeing in wet areas. it’s on the edge of the Coombs development running into the reserve, I think the suburb is diverting different volumes of water to areas it wouldn’t naturally flow. There was water flowing on the surface. I guess maybe it looks dry just because it’s winter and everything is a bit dormant.
