Please take it into protective custody and rear it to get an adult moth. I would love to know which species has that black ring around the head.

Plusiinae larvae have a tapering narrower head and thorax, a more hemispherical head, and often a lot of white lines and black dots, and no annular coloured ring around the head. Many Nacophorini larvse have flatter faces like this specimen, and some have an annular coloured ring around the face.
