You sure its V.calycina? I don't think i've ever seen it in the montane zone (not that it doesn't occur there).

V.calycina is much hairier, with hairs to 1-2mm. Also has blunt leaf tips. V.plebeia is not as hairy (hairs to 0.4mm) and has acute leaf tips.
