Flowering outside fence - several large plants flowering profusely. Non flowering and generally shorter basal tufts inside fence. Strip approx 17m x 3m wide along fenceline - width approx 1m on road side and 2m inside fenced area. Both sides of fence scattered patches (various size) and individual plants. On north side of road, close to intersection with Springfield Road. Flat rocky basaltic soil with ground cover (native and exotic) varying i.e. in verge section between fence and road - greener, longer and virtually continuous cover, in paddock (adjacent to showground) on other side of fence - mostly eaten down with exposed rocks and patches of bare ground. MGD plant growth in unfenced area on road side generally looking healthy with many in flower, several large plants flowering profusely. In fenced grazed area MGD generally stunted non-flowering basal tufts.
