Any identification is tentative with no view of the head or the legs. Assuming the caterpillar is facing away from the camera, I think I see two dorsal orange glands on the final two abdominal segments suggesting Lymantriinae. Also darker hairs behind the thorax and the foodplant suggests the Painted Apple Moth. I hope you can rear it in captivity, and take photos showing more diagnostic details , and better still: the adult moth.
