First CNM record of this likely common but difficult to ID wallaby grass. We sit on a bit of a hole in the spatial distribution of this species.

Rytidosperma tenuius is indicated by the combination of the persistently purple bands along the glumes, the short, divergent lemma lobes, the arrangement of lemma hairs and 'the vibe of the thing'. Your specimen is from a bit of a hole in the spatial distribution of herbarium specimens of that species.
