User's notes

Several of our windows latches have been recently filled up with mud (see photo) by wasps (black colour - species unknown - no photo). When I removed the mud I found several small spiders in the dried mud. Most were dead and brown but two were flexible, but unable to move, and had green abdomen with white and brown markings. A jumping spider ??

Hi Chris,
I'm not a spider expert or moderator so I hope someone can confirm your ID. Cheers.

Yes - these orb weavers are paralysed fresh meat for the developing wasp larvae
