I collected this specimen from a puddle in Pialligo on Saturday. In the last two days it has almost completely absorbed the rest of its tadpole tail, but it is still very, very tiny. Hard to get any colour detail in photos but I would be very curious to know what it is. THere were several more among quite a few larger tadpoles. The larger tadpoles seem to be at least two species: Spotted Grass frog developing legs and a larger one not yet developing legs. Will post separately.
