User's notes

This is about the fourth identifiably different pair of gang gangs examining this hollow, that I've noticed. A couple of questions: at what age do gang gangs pair up? These are young, and my theory is that rather than a pairing up to breed (not this year), they are brother and sister fledglings from a hollow not too far away?

Good question Lisa - we don't know want age couples pair up in the wild but in captivity pairs first breed at 3-4 years old, and some show interest in the opposite sex at 2. Could you put together images of the different pairs inspecting the same hollow or if they are lodged on CNM can you please provide the different sighting numbers.

Thanks michael
