It could be H.riparia the photo doesn't show clearly the leaves

I wondered about that, but didn't photograph the underside of the leaves.

According to the species information H. riparia occurs only in Tasmania, southern Victoria and South Australia. Most ACT examples are identified (or re-identified) as H. calycina. The nearby sightings and timeline show H. calycina in this location.

I think thats correct we have H.stricta not H.riparia. I need to go through the hibbertias at some stage. H.calycina is common in this part of Farrer.

Funny that H.Calycina isn't mentioned in Woodland Flora Sarah Sharp etc and not featured in Meredith Cosgrove or Flowers of the ACT Don and Betty Wood.

It is in Flora of the ACT Burbidge and Gray, and in the Census of ACT Plants but H. riparian is not. I think botanists use rainy days to change names of plants.

My understanding is that based on revision done in 2013 H.riparia no longer occurs in the ACT. What we have is largely H.calycina with small populations of H.stricta that are mostly in the upper cotter. H.ericifolia also occurs in the ACT to some extent.

Funny in flora of NSW it states H.calycina rare and H.riperia common in NSW, ST etc. I have also found H.serpyllifolia in the ACT

I think in the strict sense H.serpyllifolia only occurs in Queensland and the species you are refering is now considered to be H.ericifolia. H.calycina is a certainly a mysterious one.
