At about 1000m this area has repeated frosts with freezing and thawing. I assume this has been the cause of splitting this rock. The surrounding rock has held the split pieces in place rather than falling apart as might often happen. I don't know if this fits the category of Geological Features, but it is an interesting example of weathering and beginning the breakdown of rocks
