I'm not sure this moth has the crest it needs to have to be L. metabula. Sure, that species is variable and there are yellowish examples online, but none I see that look like this.

I have recently reared several Bathyricha from larvae, and this is definitely not it.
I'm in agreement with @donhe that it matches better with Leucania melanopasta or maybe even even L. diatrecta in wing pattern, angle of the forewing apex, crest position and size, as well as relative size and concealment of the head.
