On a closer look under magnification I think this may be closer vto O, australis male anetannae, ie longer filaments to antennae, although I'm not 100% sure. Always helps to have Oxycanus (genus) antennae in sharp focus if you can, Male antennae tend to be branched, female not so. Moths of Victoria have a detailed anetnnea visula key which is a reliable guide.

Thanks for the feedback Ian, I will keep that in mind next time I encounter an Oxycanus moth. I’m excited to find some more now!
