It looks vaguely like Cryptophasa irrorata or Sosineura mimica?

It seems to have raised scales a bit like Leptogeneia bicristata but I'm not sure. Pity that I never got a photo from the side.

Could be a worn Leptogeneia bicristata. (thorax similar but very faint, perhaps absent V shape). . Bold Systems 4 confirms L. bicristata was a wider southern Australian disctibution than just Tasmania.
