User's notes

large stick nest on top platform of telecommunications tower on edge of Ainslie Nature Reserve, at end of Phillip Avenue, Hackett. No sightings of its owners - perhaps nest of a raven or a bird of prey??

Hard to say which species this is without a bird near the nest, could be worth returning to see if there is any activity, if it isn't already abandoned.

I assume that the tower owners (Optus, Telstra?) would remove the sticks at some stage as part of their maintenance work?
I wonder whether we could ask them to collect any eggs, feathers or perhaps dead chicks to assist identifying the species.
If you think this is worth pursuing I I am happy to approach the company

Happy for you to do that if you want, I personally would never waste my time talking to either of those companies.

I put a request into Optus or Telstra ( I forget which one - it could have been an independent company ) some months back and they were going to pass on my request to have some materials collected and give me a call so I could come and get it - I live two minutes away
The sticks are still up there so it may not be for some months
