This collection of paralysed spiders fell out when I opened a door and shattered the mud cells of a wasp. There were 11 cells and about 44 spiders, so an average of 4 per cell. Most of the spiders look rather like Novakiella trituberculosa (http://www.arachne.org.au/01_cms/details.asp?ID=2107). Some shown in the fourth photo look like Gea theridioides. A collection of about 14 spiders from 4 similar cells in the same door frame last year were all green Araneus circulissparsus (sighting 4378100).
Cath - can you put some of the other species up as seperate sightings - interesting that all spiders seem to be from the orb weaver family and all are about the same size. I think I see Araneus hamiltoni in addition to Gea
