User's notes

where we were hoping the see the Common Sandpiper but it eluded us today, either that or it had a very good disguise.

@RodDeb The Common Sandpiper has been reported on and off between Isabella and Lake Tugg in the last little while. Unfortunate that it eluded you, but I am still yet to see it after 3 visits in January to Isabella (dipped each time). So possibly moves between Isabella and Lake Tugg.

Thanks, it seems that there are 2 of them, one hangs around Lake Tugg and the other at Isabella Pond. We have only seen the one at Lake Tugg once but usually can find the one at Isabella Pond on most visits, must have found a good place to hide and been having a nap. Good luck to you hope you get to see it before it flies off.
