Fresh road kill. Photographed at 1:30ish. Wasn’t there when I drove in at 8am. I dragged it off the middle of the road in the hope it doesn’t bring other scavengers to the road.

Would love to go and get that carcass! But cant. There are lots of people wanting different parts of this species atm, but they rarely last overnight.

That’s a shame. If I had a garbage bag (and a permit) I could have collected it.
