One adult and two chicks. In my observations Magpies feed each of their chicks in turn. Not so this Friarbird. The adult returned numerous times to feed the chick sitting in a dead tree. I didn't even notice the second chick in the Cherry Ballart tree until it eventually let out a few calls. Presumably it had already been well fed. Its appitite sated, the other chick joined its sibling in the Cherry Ballart.
