Found this little bee on one of my socks on the washing line. Looks like Megachile (Eutricharaea) maculariformis but lacks the rust colour on the abdomen.

Hi Roger, I'm not sure what he is but think he might be M. serricauda. The view from behind would be very distinctive with a row of peg-like teeth on T6. The foreleg is also distinctive but needs to be examined closely. M. serricauda is a relatively small species.
