User's notes

There have been a pair of gang gangs here consistently, checking out and preparing two hollows on the same tree. I am concerned about this female, however. I watched her perch on the edge of the hollow, looking in and not moving for half an hour (I thought she was looking at a male in the hollow, but he was noisily chewing in the hollow on the other side of the tree). When I got home and looked at the photos, I noticed white patches of what looks like scaly, non-feathered skin on both cheeks?
