The pair at Kieran hollow seem to have moved to another hollow at back of tree. Female was perched a little way away, and male was growling at anyone who came within cooee of the tree. I'm wondering if this may indicate egg laying has begun, and the male is being protective (I've not noticed this behaviour before)?
