Hi Cath, this one looks to me more like a T peniculata type than T megcalyptra? Looking at the flattened post-anther lobe, thin leaf and not v widely opening flowers.
Hi Tobias. I don’t think these plants belong to the pauciflora group. The three plants in this sighting and its timeline have been coming up in exactly the same spot for many years. The flowers open freely and are quite large (almost 35 mm across). They don’t self-pollinate. The inflorescences this year are about 400 mm tall, but the leaves, which are channelled and relatively narrow, are much shorter. I think it’s probably T. nuda rather than megcalyptra.
