User's notes

A surprise emergence. Collected as a larvae but later placed in my 'Lost causes' container. A container I use for the cocoons I think have taken too long to emerge so consequently think have died, or occasionally, have lost the origin tag. So wasn't expecting to find anything when I checked the container yesterday. However, on checking other reports the larvae for this species has already been identified so only the origin of the larvae has been 'lost'. Most likely The Pinnacle or Cook/Mt Painter region. Fortunately, she was still alive so time to start checking all containers every day, which I haven't been doing during winter.

Did you put a photo of the larva on CNM?

@donhe Don, I did but I now don't know which one it was. There are a couple that look like the larvae for this species, but I can't be certain of which one, which is why I suggested either the Pinnacle or Cook.
