Despite Moths in the ACT (2022) including a photo of a mature P. transvestita moth, the authors do not believe the adult Pseudanapaea (genus)moth species present in the ACT can be reliably identified to species based on sight records only. This view is expressed in the notes accompanying Pseudanapea (genus) in the CNP taxonomy. Consistent with this policy, I suggest this record should be identified as Pseudanapaea (genus).
