The leaves of P.gaudichaudii poeses the same fleshy rubbery quality as P.cornopus, but none of our native plantains have such deeply toothed leaf margins. :)

Yes, I think so, the leaves look like those of Plantago coronopus rather than P. gaudichaudi, for now I have name-confirmed both as P.Cornopus. :)
