This male Veined Emerald landed on a plant frond. The moth landed upside down and stayed that way.

I'm not sure I can identify it as C. carenaria unless I can see the upper side of the forewings. Have you any other photos showing the moth from that perspective?

Hi ibaird. Sorry, no other photos. The moth stayed upside down the whole time. I understand your difficulty with just an underside shot and happy if it is identified to the genus level. Do you want me to edit the sighting?

I think it could be a Chlorocoma or a Comostola or a Prasinocyma.
