Nice. Maybe they live in that tree.

I hope so! We might put some appropriate food out and the camera...

Do LEs eat antechinus? ;)

I expect so, if they find them in a nest. RG eat any animal material they can subdue, from insects to rabbits, dead or alive.

Don, someone was saying on social media that if they saw this, they would think it was a mouse, but on closer inspection noticed the different shaped nose. They wanted to know if there are any other differences they are missing?

Hi Matthew. Antechinus and Dunnarts have very long pointed snouts compared to the stubby face of a mouse. Antechinus ears are a different shape to ears of house mice. Mice are fast, but antechinus are faster, esp agilis. Agile antechinus are often incredibly fast and active. Sometimes mice get eaten by antechinus. Agile antechinus have a pale eye ring. Dusky Antechinus are a distinctive dark colour. Yellow Footed Antechinus have buff coloured flanks

Ililanga, sorry about converting your LE question to one about RG. The answer about LE is no.
