I think this moth confirms with Proteuxoa species group known by Moths of Victoria (Part 9) as the ''Proteuxoa sp.(5) group'- a complex group of undescribed species with common characteristics:- a reniform mark in the hindwing with widely separated component lines not looped together; a thorax with a contrasting pattern ( dark brown side panels 'tegulae' and a paler central panel, light brown of reddish brown); and a sometimes prominent orbicular wing spot anterior to the reniform mark.
