Agrotis munda have a large black backward pointing 'arrow head' or chevron mark on either forewing located just behind the thorax terminated at the anterior 'blunt'end by a prominent white bar. This feature is clearly visible in this specimen which is either very small, vestigial or absent in A. infusa.
Thank you for your comment. I've processed another image, same moth, and have uploaded it. I've had a look at this again and compared with the images on MOV again and I cannot agree with you here. Yes that arrow is there, as it is just like on all the specimens shown on MOV supp. page 'infusa 2'. also the black stripe between the two wing spots and extending beyond is there in this specimen, what you normally see on a bogong. Compare that with MOV supp. page 'munda 2'. The arrow on my moth is nothing like these and that black line through the wing spots is different to those on these moths also.
I've got some more photos from last night. I have loaded these onto a separate page. I think these ones will prove to be A. munda, they are quite different.
