This female was dozing quietly above a hollow, as if guarding it, until she heard me. Signs of recent bark chewing next to her. She was sitting above and to the right of the hollow on left in photo 3. Gang-gangs are often in these trees. I am marking this as a possible nesting site and will keep an eye on it.
