The flowers are possibly a pea that has possibly been chewed. I am not sure that the leaves in photo 3 belong to the plant with the flowers on. Carefully disentangling the plant from all the grass etc and photographing it with a black t-shirt would make identification much easier.
Hi Betty. I actually (for once) disentangled the stem attached to the flowers, and lifted the whole plant from the understory for these photos, and I think photo 3 matches the leaves in photo 4?
Now that I can see what is going on, it looks as if the twiner with the flower is twining round the plant with the leaves as in photo 3. There are too many climbers in the area to decide what this is without open flowers and leaves to see. I am not sure what the yellow and red thingy in photo 3 is. Possibly an open seed case rather than a flower. Or that it is the same plant as shown in photos 1 and 3. Sorry. You may find my free app Plants of South Eastern New South Wales of use.
