Seedlings popping up in large numbers on 21 February (first picture). I still can't quite tell whether this is Viola b. or something else.

I've seen seedlings with the same shaped cotyledons on Black Mountain; the size of the cotyledons is consistent with the large size of the Convolvulus seeds.

That makes sense, Convolvulus did also cross my mind..
