It was a healthy patch of plants in different stages of flowering, in a relatively sheltered moist slope

Great picture showing the 'upside down' nature of the flowers, with the dorsal sepal and enclosed column at the bottom and the lateral sepals at the top. It also illustrates how it is the underside of the labellum that we usually see.
