A line of tiny ants (1-2 mm) carrying pupae much larger than themselves.

Hi Cath, sorry for the slow response. Interesting photos. They are certainly large pupae. I really don't know if they are their own pupae (maybe of ants which will end up as queens, which is why they are so big) or maybe pupae of another ant, stolen from elsewhere. Very interesting. Cheers, Jon
