Given the location, one would normally consider this to be Microseris walteri at that altitude. Any idea of the source of these plantings?

I would be happier with Microseris sp. The only way to tell the two species apart is from the seeds and/or below ground structures.

Just double-checked, planting records suggest M. lanceolata.

The problem is that Microseris walteri was only split from Microseris lanceolata a couple of years ago. A lot of nurseries have not bothered to use the name Microseris walteri. So planting records are not much help.
