Common on sand bar, where part of dense fringe of shrubs beside Murrumbidgee River; mostly young, colonising sand bar since```````````````` last major flood.
The ACT Plant Census (2017) does not mention subspecies, so both must have been recorded for the ACT. There is too much overlap in leaf details to decide which subspecies this is. It can hybridise with Acacia baileyana (unlikely in the plant in your photo because of the number of leaflets), and with Aciacia parramattensis (again unlikely because of the colour).
