Not sure about this one, initially I thought it was one of the weedy species but I can't place it as being one of those. I got lost in the key trying to figure out if the rachilla was winged or not.

One culm was collected, pressed and dried then taken to the CSIRO herbarium where Dave Albrecht determined it to be Cyperus lucidus
