Hi Alison
The location is given as the middle of the road, which seems not quite right for the photo. Could you please fix the location so it is more accurate?

Thanks Michael. It was close to the road but I've updated. Very old satellite photo - before all the buildings went up.

Whoops - now seems to have lost its classification.

There's a small bug that changes sightings to 'Unidentified' if you do any editing, like adding a photo or updating location.

I agree about the bug Mike, but it is just a visual thing, and the sighting is not put on the Unidentified list. It is one of dozens of little bugs that Aaron has created while doing his recent renovations. It is on my list for his attention.

Hi again Alison
Would you be able to correct the sighting date as well, which is yesterday rather than long ago? It would be more valuable as an historical sighting.

Hi Michael, I re-added the last photo to reset the date-time coordinates etc.

The sighting date is 3 Sept 2018. When did you actually take the photo?
AlisonMilton wrote:

Michael, the date is correct. I took the photo on Monday when I went out to the wetlands.

I'm sorry, I thought you said it was a very old photo - before all the buildings went up.

I meant the Google Earth satellite photo where I was trying to find the right location. There were no buildings to guide me. Sorry to mislead you.

The CNM sightings of caterpillars are August-September and the adult moths are April.

Yes Alison, I missed the critical word satellite. Good to see these caterpillars have got thru the dry winter.

I just hope someone didn't stand on it. It was right in the middle of the narrow footpath (sorry I'm a Queenslander and footpath doesn't just mean the cement paths)
