When you upload photos that are larger than life size, it is helpful if you make a note in the Comments of the actual size. It did not matter that there were no leaves etc in your photo in this particular case. Howver, where there are more than one similar species in the CNM area, leaves, stems, and side on photos of a flower can be critical for the ID.

Sorry will try to remember that in future. Have added another photo. It hardly had any leaves or much stem to the plant it was surprising it had 2 flowers and another one on the way, it looked nearly dead. It was near a worse for wear blackberry plant. There were no other flowers or similar plants nearby.
