Hi Chris/Ryu, I've just realised that this sighting has been identified by you as a Brown Goshawk. This is in fact the same bird and nest as I just posted last week with chicks in the nest, which Philip Veerman has now confirmed as being a Collared Sparrowhawk.
I still think Goshawk. Rounded tail (the outer tail feathers which go below the centre feathers is clearly shorter), the middle toe is not overly long, and the glare is more emphasised that what I'd expect from a Sparrowhawk
