This is only the third general locality of this orchid recorded within our region the other being Black Mountain Sandstone (Aranda Bushland + Black Mountain) and Mount Jerrabomberra

User's notes

On stony ridge in sclerophyll forest, leaf litter, sparse other plant growth.

Factors in its infrequent recording could be its late flowering, infrequent flowering and its cryptic nature. It might also be rare!

Yes it is easily overlooked so its apparent sparse distribution may in part be
lack of reporting.
