Identification based on online Flora of Victoria key, then on V. Stajsic, N.G. Walsh, R. Douglas, A. Messina and B.P.J. Molloy (2015) A revision of Melicytus (Violaceae) in mainland Australia and Tasmania. Australian Systematic Botany, 2014, 27, 305–323. (note the 2014 journal appears to have come out in 2015). Finally images were set to Neville Walsh st Melbourne Herbarium for confirmation.
The current reference images for species 9482 are a composite of two sightings. The first two are Melicytus dentatus (don't see where it was recorded) one can clearly tell by the number of teeth on the leaf margins. The third image is from the jackfrench record, that record and the one from gregbaines seem more likely to be Melicytus angustifolius subsp. divaricatus as the leaf margins seem entire (although with the resolution I have with those images it is difficult to be certain) and the stem branching seems consistent with M. angustifolius subsp. divaricatus. However, in an email Neville Walsh mentions he has seen M. dentatus around the Naas Creek area.
