A colony of perhaps 100 plants. On the top of a hill nestled among rock and tussocks. Not very developed, with only 1 plant showing a flower stem, and a few others showing the first signs of developing a stem. Potentially P. nutans.
Wow very cool find Matt. I really hope this is P. pedunculata, but either way Mount Majura is winning! The semi-developed one in your first photo looks more like P. nutans to me?
I'm really not sure which one it is. It's a long way from the other populations, both in terms of distance and maturity. At least it won't be too long before all is revealed.
